Paul Levinsohn, a founder of the New York City Regional Center

Mr. Paul Levinsohn, a founder of the New York City Regional Center explained that his regional center encompasses all of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. Foreign investments are made in Targeted Employment Areas which are areas of high unemployment. “Since our approval in 2008, the NYCRC is working to help fund a number of large public/private real estate projects that are creating much needed construction jobs in areas such as downtown Brooklyn and the Bronx,” noted Mr. Levinsohn. Levinsohn went on to note that the NYCRC is overseen by the United States Citizenship Immigration Services (“USCIS”), a division of the Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Paul Levinsohn explained that the NYCRC is deploying much needed capital to help fund projects in areas of high unemployment in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. “The beauty of EB-5 capital is that it is matching ready sources of capital to well-defined public/private projects that are creating jobs for New Yorkers,” noted Mr. Levinsohn. Levinsohn went on to say that “now more than ever, we have to find innovative ways to secure private investment and finance important infrastructure projects.” Levinsohn said that the NYCRC has raised funds from investors from 18 different countries.

Paul Levinsohn Served a Term on the Board of Trustees for Duke University

Paul Levinsohn received his undergraduate degree from Duke University. He received a joint degree in Political Science and Law at Duke University as well. While at law school, Mr. Levinsohn was a member of the Duke Law Journal, the school’s law review. Paul Levinsohn also served a term on the Board of Trustees for Duke University.

Levinsohn resides in Manhattan with his family. He is currently a Managing Principal of the New York City Regional Center (NYCRC). This company raises foreign investment to fund real estate projects in areas of high unemployment throughout New York City.

Paul Levinsohn is the Managing Principal

Paul Levinsohn is the Managing Principal of the New York City Regional Center (“NYCRC”). The NYCRC was approved by the Department of Homeland Security to raise and invest foreign capital in real estate development projects throughout New York City. The NYCRC is part of the EB-5 program which was established by Congress to stimulate economic development through foreign investment. The Program’s mandate is to use foreign investment to spur job creation while simultaneously affording eligible foreign investors the opportunity to become lawful permanent residents of the United States.

Mr. Levinsohn received his undergraduate degree from Duke University. He received both a masters degree (M.A.) in Political Science from Duke University Graduate School and a law degree, Juris Doctorate (J.D.), from Duke University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Levinsohn was a member of the school’s Law Review, the Duke Law Journal. Mr. Levinsohn served a term on the Duke University Board of Trustees.

Mr. Levinsohn resides in Manhattan with his family.
